Lindsay Shokrai
Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Lindsay Shokrai, MA, OTR/L
Lindsay holds a bachelor’s degree in Dance from UC Santa Barbara and a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California.
She discovered occupational therapy while teaching dance, gymnastics and yoga to children in preschools and elementary schools. After encountering students with learning differences, she was drawn to occupational therapy to deepen her understanding of how movement and sensory processing support learning, regulation, and participation. Following graduate school at USC, she gained experience in school-based and clinic-based settings, but ultimately found her professional home in clinic-based OT, where her passions and expertise align. She continues to integrate her love of movement with evidence-based practices in the OT gym and believes movement is a powerful tool that helps children regulate, develop a strong sense of self, and engage more confidently with the world around them.
Lindsay is certified in Sensory Integration and has advanced training in feeding therapy. Outside of work, you can find her dancing, attending the theater, or adventuring and spending time with her 7 year-old son
