Dr. Reema Naim OTD, OTR/L, CAS
Dr. Reema Naim, OTD, OTR/L is a pediatric occupational therapist, entrepreneur, and creator of The Sensokids, a globally recognized children’s education platform focused on sensory development. Born and raised in London, England, she moved to California to pursue a career in health sciences, earning both her Master’s and Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. She later obtained her SIPT (Sensory Integration and Praxis Test) certification, specializing in sensory integration therapy.
Dr. Naim is the founder of OT Studios, Inc., a Los Angeles based multidisciplinary pediatric clinic providing occupational, speech, and physical therapy services, as well as social skills programs for children with autism, ADHD, and developmental challenges. In addition to her clinical work, she has guest lectured on business development and sensory integration at the University of Southern California, West Coast University, and King Saud University in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
Blending her clinical expertise with a passion for creativity, Dr. Naim created The Sensokids, a cast of four sensory characters who take children on adventures to understand how our unique sensory systems impact behavior, focus, and daily life. She is the author of four children’s books in The Adventures of the Sensokids series, which have been translated into Japanese and implemented in schools as educational tools.
With a deeply multicultural background—Saudi and Syrian on her mother’s side, Afghan, Pakistani, and Kashmiri on her father’s, and raised in London, England by a Filipino caregiver—Dr. Naim brings a global perspective to her work and a unique ability to connect across cultures. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and children, where she continues to oversee her pediatric private practice, expand her Sensokids brand, and pursue creative projects, including directing music videos while embracing the joys of motherhood.
